Annie Newton

The funeral service for Annie Reta Newton (née Pattimore), dearly loved wife of the late Peter, who died peacefully at Maison de Quetteville Nursing Home, aged 97 years, was held at St Joseph’s Church and was conducted by Deacon Mark Leightley, Celebrant. The processional music was Pie Jesu by The Priests. Included in the service was the Bible Readings, Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8 read by Michael Newton, grandson, the Gospel, John 14:  1-6 read by Deacon Leightley, Prayers of Intercession given by Helen Streeting, granddaughter and Words of Remembrance given by Paul Newton, son.

The organist, Luke O’Donnell, accompanied the singing of Praise my soul the King of heaven and Make me a channel of your peace.

The service was followed by private interment.

Donations in lieu of flowers were to be sent to Maison de Quetteville, via mha.org.gg and click fundraising.  

The arrangements were by Martels Funeral Services Ltd. with Paul Bougourd supervising.
