BRENNAND ROPER, Dr STEPHEN MICHAEL, BEM –  Unexpectedly on 4 May 2026 at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, aged 75 years. Cherished and beloved husband of Melissa and father to Matthew and Frances. A treasured friend and colleague to so many. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, most especially by his family, who loved him dearly. A quiet champion for Guernsey.

GAUVAIN, Joan Mary (nee Snell) – Passed away peacefully at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital on Friday 1st May 2026, aged 84. Beloved wife of the late David, treasured mum of Steven, Gary and Martin, mother-in-law to Fiona, Chantal and Anna. Cherished sister and adored nan.

CRISELL, Pearl Elizabeth (nee Ogier) – Peacefully on 3 May 2026 at Le Platon Home, aged 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Derek. Devoted mum of Angela and Ian. Dear mother-n-law of Caroline. SMART, Marjorie (nee George) – It is with absolute heartache that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Marjorie on 1st May 2026 in her 91st year. Dearly loved wife of the late Brian Smart. Cherished and adored mum of Chris and Jayne, mother-in-law of Sue and Dave. Adored grandma to Chris, Matt, Ben, Jenna and Luke, great grandma to Oliver, Charlie and Louie. She was the heart of our family and her love will live on forever in our hearts.

BICHARD, Maureen Elizabeth – Peacefully at home, on 28th April 2026, aged 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Stan, much loved mother of Sandra and Lyn and mother-in-law of Mark and Les. SIMS, Cheryl - Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 31st March 2026, at Les Bourgs Hospice, aged 75. Much loved mother of Pete, and a dear sister to Vanessa. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
