Betty Thompson

The funeral service for Elizabeth (Betty) Mary Thompson (née Unsworth) dearly loved wife of the late Hugh, who died peacefully at Saumarez Park Residential Home, aged 97 years, was held at Our Lady Star of the Sea, Delancey and conducted by Deacon Mark Leightley, Celebrant. Included in the service were the Readings, Romans 14: 7-12 and Gospel, John 14: 1-6 read by Deacon Mark Leightley with Words of Remembrance read by Pat Thompson, daughter-in-law and Words of Thanks given by David Thompson, son.                          

The organist, Luke O’Donnell, accompanied the singing of Make me a Channel of Your Peace, The Lord’s my Shepherd (Crimond), Father I Place into Your Hands and Walk with me Oh My Lord.

The service was followed by private cremation.
