Alva Gee
The funeral service for Alva Irene Gee (née Bradshaw), much loved wife of the late Ron, who died peacefully at home, aged 92 years, was held at the Castel Parish Church and was conducted by Father Joe Thompson. Included in the service was the Eulogy given by Oliver and Lucy, grandchildren, words written by Ian, son, read by Father Joe and the Scripture Reading, John 14: 1-6 read by Nicky, daughter. The recessional music was, Bring me Sunshine by Morecambe and Wise.
The organist, Martin Hassall, accompanied the singing of Onward Christian Soldiers and He who would valiant be.
The service was followed by private cremation.
