Leonard Howard

A Service of Celebration for the life of Leonard Michael Howard, dearly loved husband of Judy, who died peacefully at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, aged 86 years, was held at the St Martin’s Parish Hall and was conducted by Michelle Duquemin, Celebrant. Drummers, Darren James, Woody James and Joe James led the service with the Drum Salute – Grenadiers March. The opening music was Misty by Ella Fitzgerald. Included in the service were Memories of Dad from Karen, Laurence and Lucy read by Karen, daughter, Memories of Ganga by Tom, Sam, Jack, Chloe, Mikey, Louie, Logan and Arlow read by Chloe, granddaughter and Litany of Remembrance co-authored by Rabbi Sylvan Kamens and Rabbi Jack Riemer read by Michelle Duquemin. During a period for reflection, Take The A Train by Oscar Peterson was played. The recessional music was Georgia On My Mind by Michael Bublé.                 

The service was followed by private cremation.
