Peter Surry

The funeral service for Peter Edwin Surry, dearly loved husband of Pauline, who died peacefully at home, aged 86 years, was held at the Vale Parish Church and was conducted by The Revd Beverley Hervé. The entrance music was, My heart will go on by Celine Dion. Included in the service was the Bible Reading, John 14: 1-6, and the Poem, God looked around his Garden read by Revd Hervé. Memories of Pete were given by Philip Surry, son. During a period for reflection, Orinoco Flow by Enya was played. The recessional music was, Simply the Best by Tina Turner.

The organist, Joan Le Flem, accompanied the singing of All things bright and beautiful and Morning has broken. The service was followed by private interment.
