Edward (Ted) Hawkins

A Service of Celebration for the life of Edward (Ted) Charles John Hawkins, dearly loved husband of the late Janet, who died at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, aged 85 years, was held at Les Cotils and was conducted by The Very Revd John A Guille. To open the service, Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers was played. Included in the service were the Readings, God saw you getting tired and verses from St Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians Chapter 15 read by Revd Guille.  The recessional music was, Sarnia Cherie, by Crystal James.

The organist, Graham Martel, accompanied the singing of Amazing Grace and Morning has Broken.

The service was followed by private cremation.
