Brenda Brimage
A Service of Celebration, prior to cremation, for the life of Brenda Mae Brimage (née Le Page), dearly loved wife of the late Graham, who died on Brehon Ward, aged 94 years, was held at Le Foulon Chapel and was conducted by Annette Henry, Celebrant. The opening music was Supermarket Flowers by Ed Sheeran. The Eulogy, with tributes from the family, was read by Annette. During a period of contemplation, Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel was played. The recessional music was, We’ll Meet Again by Vera Lynn.
Mourners were: Garry Brimage, son and June Brimage, daughter-in-law; Mandy Marley, daughter; Paul Brimage, grandson and Carole Brimage; John Brimage, grandson and Lucy Brimage; Bjay Garratt, grandson and Jade Burtenshaw; Liam Sarre, great-grandson; Alex Brimage, great-grandson; Sophie Brimage, great-granddaughter;
Carolyn Phillips, sister and Inka Phillips, brother-in-law (also representing Kevin Le Marchant, nephew); Mark Le Page, nephew and May Le Page (also representing Molly Le Page, sister-in-law); Paula Fox, niece (also representing Lyndon and Kobi Fox, Kirsty Broome, Stacey Allen, Luke Ferbrache, great-nieces and nephews and their families).
Also present were; Jean Rolls and Tilly, volunteer and therapy dog for WAG, Wellbeing Animals Guernsey visitors on Brehon Ward; Donna Thorn and Paul Dyer; Henry and Kate Thorn (also representing Hayley, Mark and family); Martina Stanfield, Karen Burns and Maria Gauvain (also representing Brehon Ward); Shirley and Ivan King; Pat Peeters (also representing Rudie, Adriaan and Mark); Laura Peeters; Tim and Julie Casey; Mark Stanford (also representing Sally Stanford).
