Isobel Cable

The funeral service, prior to cremation, for Isobel Catherine Cable (née Riley), loving wife of John, who died at home, aged 79 years, was held at Le Foulon Chapel and was conducted by Revd Beverley Hervé. Included in the service was Sonnet 43 by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, read by Samuel Williams, grandson and the Bible Reading, Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8 read by Alex Judge, grandson. The recessional music was Soave Sia il Vento from Cosi fan tutte by Mozart.

The organist, Joan Le Flem, accompanied the singing of Thine be the glory, risen conquering Son, Immortal, invisible, God only wise and Lord of all hopefulness, Lord of all joy.
