Brian Garner
The funeral service for Brian Stanley Garner, devoted husband of the late Sheila, who died peacefully at Chateau des Tielles Nursing Home, aged 90 years, was held at St Stephen’s Church and was conducted by Father Joe Thompson. The opening music was Welcome Home, by Dave Dobbyn. The Eulogy was given by Nikki Attwooll and Mark Garner and Father Joe read from 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8a, 12-13. The choir sung the Nunc Dimittis.
The organist, Felicity Millard, accompanied the singing of I heard the voice of Jesus say, The Lord’s my Shepherd (Crimond) and Jerusalem. The choir sang the ‘Nunc Dimittis.
The service was followed by private cremation.
