Gemma Laine-Sparkes
A Service of Celebration for the life of Gemma Marinella Lainé-Sparkes (Sparky), much loved wife of Graham, who died at Les Bourgs Hospice, aged 40 years, was held at St Pierre Park Hotel, and was conducted by Annette Henry, Celebrant. The opening music was Iris by Goo Goo Dolls. Included in the service was the Poem, The Dash by Linda Ellis, Florence Sparkes, niece, sang The Climb by Miley Cyrus and the Eulogy was given by Annette Henry. The congregation were invited to sing along to, With a Little Help from my Friends and during a period of contemplation, accompanied by a photo montage, Everlong by Foo Fighters and Lift by Shannon Noll was played. The recessional music was Here without You by 3 Doors Down.
