Tony Mahy
The funeral service for Anthony (Tony) Mahy, loving husband of Liz, who died peacefully at GreenAcres, aged 92 years, was held at St Paul’s Methodist Church and was conducted by the Revd Howard Stringer. Opening the service was the music, What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. Included in the service was the Bible Reading, Revelations 21: 1-4, the Tribute was given by Ross and Jodi, grandchildren and the Poem, Do not stand at my grave and weep, was read by Revd Stringer. The recessional music was I did it my Way by Frank Sinatra.
The organist, Graham Martel, accompanied the singing of Silent night, Holy night and All things bright and beautiful.
The service was followed by private cremation.
