Michael Valpied

The funeral service for Michael Edward Valpied much loved husband of Pat, who died peacefully at home, aged 89 years, was held at St Martin’s Parish Church and was conducted by the Revd Daniel Foot. Included in the service was the Eulogy given by André, son-in-law and the Seafarers Prayer. During a period of reflection, Come unto him from Handel’s Messiah was sung by Joan Le Flem. The recessional music was I’ll walk with God by Mario Lanza.                    

The organist, Joan Le Flem, accompanied the singing of Thine be the glory, risen, conquering Son and The Lord’s My Shepherd, I’ll not want (Townsend).  

The service was followed by private cremation.
