Janet Aslett

The funeral service for Janet Elizabeth Aslett, who died peacefully at Maison de Quetteville, aged 81 years, was held at St Paul’s Methodist Church and was conducted by The Revd Howard Stringer. Included in the service was the Bible Reading John 14: 1-6, 27 read by Joy Liggett, the Tribute read by Revd Stringer and the Poem, What is Dying, read by Claire Teed. During a period for reflection, The Lord’s my Shepherd, sung by Stuart Townsend and Stoneleigh Worship Band was played. 

The organist, Graham Martel, accompanied the singing of Be still, for the presence of the Lord and The day thou Gavest, Lord is ended.

The service was followed by private interment.
