Michael Marett
The funeral service for Michael Frederick Marett, beloved husband of Pat, who died at Summerland House Nursing Home, aged 84, was held at Martels Chapel, and was conducted by The Very Revd John A Guille. Included in the service was the Poem, Do not ask me to remember, read by Tracey De Carteret, daughter who also talked about her Dad’s interests and shared some family memories. Verses from St John’s Gospel 14 were read by Becky Winterflood, Paul’s partner and Revd Guille read the Tribute and Address.
The hymns were All things bright and beautiful and The Lord is my Shepherd.
The service was followed by private interment.
Mourners were: Pat Marett, wife; Paul Marett, son and Becky Winterflood, daughter-in-law; Tracey De Carteret, daughter and Armand De Carteret, son-in-law; Caitlin De Carteret, granddaughter; Imogen De Carteret, granddaughter.

Flowers were from: Pat. Tracey and Armand. Paul and Becky. Immie. Caitlin.
Donations in lieu were to be sent to Guernsey Alzheimers Association, c/o The Treasurer, The Centre, Rue des Monts, Delancey, St Sampsons, GY2 4HU.
The arrangements were by Martels Funeral Services Ltd. with Paul Bougourd supervising.
