Elizabeth (Betty) Till

The funeral service for Elizabeth (Betty) Mary Till (née Le Noury), dearly loved wife of the late Harry, who died peacefully at Green Oaks Nursing Home, aged 99, was held at  St Martin’s Parish Church and was conducted by The Very Revd John A Guille. Included in the service were the Readings, God looked around his garden and St John 14: 1-6, 29 both read by Revd Guille.                      

The organist, Joan Le Flem, accompanied the singing of Thine be the glory, risen, conquering Son and Abide with me; fast falls the eventide.

The service was followed by private cremation.

Teena De La Mare, niece and Malcolm De La Mare; Martin De La Mare, great-nephew and Cara De La Mare (also representing Alfie De La Mare); Stuart De La Mare, great-nephew and Krystal De La Mare; Michele Shell, niece, Robert Shell, Emma Shell, great-niece (also representing John Petit, brother-in-law);

Janice Hugo, niece (also representing Wendy Lakeland, niece, Philip Lakeland, Talei and Grant); Gill Hugo, great-niece; David Hugo, great-nephew; Georgina Ede-Golightly (also representing Tilly Fisken, niece, Noel Burnell, Jane Cross and family, Margaret and Benny Cross).

Also present were: Alan Tielles; Lisa Dodd (also representing Paul Dodd, James Dodd, Marguerite Jeffrey and Wendy Salmon); Annette Marquand; Lynne Kendal-Falla (also representing all the girls from Bijoux Boutique); Linda Robilliard; Keith Wellington (also representing Nigel and Zoe Tucker in Salisbury and Abigail and Shaun Wilson in Worthing); Catherine Gauvain (also representing Macy and Ruby);

Margaret Robins (also representing Nigel Robins and family); Pearl Moore (also representing Joanne and Neil Moore); Brenda Smart (also representing Pete Smart); Abbi Smart; Holly Petit (also representing Ann Petit, Amy Sarre and Josie Petit); Jemma and Finn Le Tissier (also representing Louie Le Tissier); Pat Le Tissier (also representing Ian Le Tissier); Pam Thatcher (also representing Colin, Samantha and Paul); Len and Joy Marquis.

Flowers were from: Susan, John, Sharon, Chris, Lisa, Sarah, John and Maria.

Donations in lieu of flowers were to be sent to Grow Ltd, c/o The Treasurer, Les Petits Quartier Vinery, Coutanchez, St Sampson’s, GY2 4GE

The arrangements were by Martels Funeral Services Ltd. with Paul Bougourd  supervising.
