Margaret Trebert

A Service of Celebration for the life of Margaret Florence Trebert (née Birch), loved wife of the late David, who died at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, aged 94, was held at Le Foulon Chapel and was conducted by Michelle Duquemin, Celebrant. Opening music was Dream A Little Dream of Me by Doris Day. Patricia Montgomery, niece read Memories of Margaret written by Rena Fraser, cousin, André Trebert, nephew and Patricia. During a time of reflection, The Wonder of You by Elvis Presley was played. The closing music was Fly Me to The Moon by Doris Day.

The service was followed by private cremation.

Jordan Trebert, great-nephew; David Trebert, great-nephew; Janice Trebert, niece (also representing Nick Trebert, great-nephew and Elise Trebert, great-niece); Graeme Cox, cousin (also representing Ann Cox, Geoff Cox, cousin and Jan Cox).

Also present were: Paul and Gill Ellis; Jo May (also representing Joan May); Maureen Snell (also representing Belinda Ogier); Jan Aslett (also representing Jack Birch); Kelly Ogier (also representing Nic Mountain and Sue Topley and the residents and staff of the Guernsey Cheshire Home); Carolyn Bihet (also representing the members, staff and management of the Ron Short Centre and Pam Bartlett).

Flowers were from: The Family.

Donations in lieu of flowers were to be sent to Ron Short Centre, c/o The Treasurer, Beau Sejour, St Peter Port, GY1 2DH.
