Allan Brown

The funeral service for Allan William Brown, dearly loved partner of Sandra, who died peacefully on Brehon Ward, Princess Elizabeth Hospital, aged 72, was held at St Paul’s Methodist Church and was conducted by the Revd Howard Stringer. Included in the service was a tribute to Allan read by Revd Stringer. During a period of reflection Spirit in the Sky by Doctor and the Medics was played. The recessional music was, You’ll never walk alone by Gerry and the Pacemakers.                   

The organist, Graham Martel, accompanied the singing of Morning has broken and All things bright and beautiful.

The service was followed by private cremation.

Flowers were from: Andy, Kira and Jo. Sandra. Paula and Pete. Ben, Tamsin and Jaffa.

Donations in lieu of flowers were to be sent to The Oberlands Centre, La Rue de la Corbinerie, St Martin’s, GY4 6SP.  

The arrangements were by Martels Funeral Services Ltd. with Paul Bougourd  supervising.
