Richard (Rick) Mahy
The funeral service for Richard (Rick) John Mahy, husband of Chris, who died peacefully at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, aged 63, was held at St Sampsons Parish Church and was conducted by Revd Linda Le Vasseur. Opening the service was a compilation of music by Led Zeppelin. Included in the service was the Poem, Footprints read by Tracey Crooke. The recessional music was Always look on the bright side of life.
The organist, Tim Bean, accompanied the singing of Will your anchor hold, Make me a channel of your peace and All things bright and beautiful.
The service was followed by private cremation.
