Shirley Harvey

The funeral service for Shirley Ann Harvey (née Le Huray), widow of Michael, who died at Maison de Quetteville, aged 90, was held at the Vale Parish Church and was conducted by Revd Beverley Hervé. Opening the service was the music, Fields of Gold, by Eva Cassidy. Included in the service was the Bible Reading, I Corinthians 13: 4-8, and the Poem, Our Mother kept a garden read by Revd Hervé. The Tribute was given by Sue, daughter. A period of reflection was accompanied by O “Fly On” by Coldplay. The recessional music was Pie Jesu by Katherine Jenkins and What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong.
The organist, Andrew Warren, accompanied the singing of Morning has Broken and The Day Thou Gavest, Lord is Ended.
The service was followed by private interment.
