Michael Vance

The funeral service, prior to cremation, for Michael John Vance, husband of the late Jennie, who died peacefully at St John’s Residential Home, aged 85, was held at Le Foulon Chapel and was conducted by Celebrant, Annette Henry.  The service sheet which included a sketch of Michael was drawn by Brooke, granddaughter. Included in the service was the song, Morning has broken by Cat Stevens and the Eulogy, with tributes from family and friends was given by Annette who also read a personal tribute from Terry, brother. Amanada, daughter shared her memories and Tony, son, also gave a tribute. During a period of contemplation, accompanied by a photo montage, curated by Georgie, granddaughter, La Mer by Charles Trenet was played. The closing music was Edelweiss (Instrumental).

Mourners were: Amanda Clark, daughter and Nick Clark, son-in-law (also representing Archie Clark, grandson and Terry Clark); Brooke Clark, granddaughter; Tony Vance, son and Hayley Vance, daughter-in-law; Georgie Vance, granddaughter; Sebastian Vance, grandson; Etienne Vance, grandson; Terry Vance, brother and Jean Vance, sister-in-law.
