Bernard Roussel
The funeral service for Bernard Hedley Roussel, beloved husband of the late Pamela, who died at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, aged 92, was held at St Peter’s Parish Church and was conducted by The Revd Dr Adrian Datta. Included in the service was the Tribute and Bible Reading, Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8 read by Revd Dr Datta and the Poem, Grandfather Kept a Garden, read by Alex, great-grandson. The recessional music was Songbird by Fleetwood Mac.
The organist, Stephen Francis, accompanied the singing of Morning has broken and All things bright and beautiful.
The service was followed by private interment.
