Gwenneth Taylor

The funeral service for Gwenneth (Gwen) Iris Taylor (née Lowe), widow of Brian who died peacefully at Les Ormes Care Home, aged 87, was held at the Salvation Army Fortress and conducted by Major Andrew Diaper-Clausen. The opening music was, Forgotten Dreams by Leroy Anderson. Included in the service were Tributes to Gwen, the Bible Reading, Psalm 139: 1-9 and the Poem, If Roses Grow in Heaven written by Kirsten Prues, chosen by Claire and Ian, all read by Major Diaper-Clausen. The recessional music was, Time to say goodbye by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman.     

The organist, Stephen Francis, accompanied the singing of All things bright and beautiful and The day thou gavest, Lord is ended.

The service was followed by private cremation.
