Michael (Bruce) Riley

A Service of Celebration for the life of Michael (Bruce) Riley, husband of Jenny, who died at the Summerland House Nursing Home, aged 84, was held at Les Cotils and was conducted by Celebrant, Annette Henry. Opening the service was the music, Piper to the End by Skipinnish. Included in the service was a Poem written and read by Kate, daughter, and was followed by a piano recital, Dreams. The Eulogy with tributes from family and friends was read by Annette included a recorded tribute from his brother Gavin in New Zealand. During a quiet moment for contemplation, accompanied by a photo montage, Fields of Gold by Eva Cassidy was played. The closing music was Walking on the Waves by Skipinnish.
The service was followed by private cremation.
