Roy de Jersey

A Service of Celebration for the life of Royston (Roy) Wilson de Jersey, who died peacefully at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, aged 83, was held at the Vale Douzaine Room and was conducted by Celebrant, Michelle Duquemin. Prior to the service a selection of 60’s/70’s music was played during the arrival of the congregation. The opening music was Something by The Beatles. Included in the service was a Tribute to Roy read by Colin, son, the Poems, His Journey Goes On by Joe Eliston and Another Biker Who Has Gone Down by Connie Starren both read by Michelle who also read the summary statement including words from Mark Maubec. During a time of reflection, including a photo presentation, Bridge over Troubled Water by Simon and Garfunkel was played. The closing music was Orinoco Flow by Enya.

The service was followed by a private interment.
