Janet Gallienne

The funeral service for Janet Kathleen Gallienne (née Foley), widow of Len who died peacefully at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, aged 86, was held at St Joseph’s Church and was conducted by Deacon Mark Leightley. Included in the service was the First Reading, Ecclesiastes 3: 1-11, Gospel Reading, John 14: 1-6 both read by Deacon Mark and the Poem, When Tomorrow Starts Without Me, read by Deborah Gallienne-Ward, daughter. The recessional music was We’ll Meet Again by Vera Lynn.                   

The organist, Luke O’Donnell, accompanied the singing of All things bright and beautiful and How great thou art.

The service was followed by private cremation.
