Derek Mechem

The funeral service for Derek Douglas Mechem, husband of the late Betty, who died at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, aged 92, was held at St Paul’s Methodist Church and was conducted by The Revd Howard Stringer. Included in the service was the Bible Reading, John 14: 1-6, 27 read by Revd Stringer. The Eulogy was given by Glenn Ashworth, grandson and the Poem, All is Well was read by Kathleen Bichard.
The organist, Graham Martel, accompanied the singing of Dear Lord and Father of Mankind and Tell out my soul.
The service was followed by private interment.
