Elizabeth Brouard

A Service of Celebration for the life of Elizabeth Susan (Liz/Sue) Brouard (née Cooke), widow of Alan, who died at Blanchelande Park Nursing Home, aged 86, was held at Le Foulon Chapel and was conducted by Celebrant, Annette Henry. The opening music was, I am a Poor Wayfaring Stranger by Jos Slovick. Included in the service the Eulogy with family tributes, read by Jean-Luc and the poem, The Owl and the Pussy-Cat read by Annette. During a period of contemplation, Les Filles du Câté, The Harp Consort, directed by Andrew Lawrence-King was played and a photo montage was accompanied by the theme tune to Doc Martin. The closing music was, For the Beauty of the Earth by John Rutter, sung by The Cambridge Singers.

Mourners were: Jean-Luc Brouard, son; Jennifer Caloger; daughter in law; Maggie Kalupka, sister; Jo Scott, niece; Jas Horner, niece.

Donations in lieu of flowers were to be sent to the GSPCA, Les Fiers Moutons, St Andrews, GY6 8UD.
