John Eyre
The funeral service for John David Eyre, husband of Pauline, who died peacefully at Les Bourgs Hospice, aged 87, was held at the Vale Parish Church and was conducted by the Revd Beverley Hervé. The organist, Andrew Warren, accompanied the singing of Love divine, all loves excelling and Jerusalem. Included in the service were Reflections read by Katharine, daughter, the Bible Reading, John 14: 1-6, 27 read by Revd Hervé and the Eulogy given by Lisa, daughter-in-law. The recessional music was Mr Blue Sky by ELO.
The service was followed by private cremation.
