Terry White

A Service of Celebration, prior to cremation, for the life of Terry White, who died at Les Bourgs Hospice, aged 91, was held at Le Foulon Chapel and was conducted by the Celebrant, Annette Henry. Opening the service was the music, Elgar’s Nimrod by the London Philharmonic Orchestra followed by Share My Yoke by the Desford Colliery Band. Included in the service was a Poem read by Juliet, daughter, the Eulogy given by Paul, son, a reading by way of an extract from one of Terry’s novels, A Donkey up a Minaret, by Matthew, son and the Poem, He is Gone, read by James, grandson. During a period of contemplation, accompanied by a photo montage, That’s Life by Frank Sinatra was played. The closing music was Largo from New World Symphony by the Grimethorpe Colliery Band.
