June Davis

The funeral service for June Margaret Davis (née Stephenson), widow of Alan who died peacefully at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, aged 91, was held at Les Capelles Methodist Church and was conducted by the Revd Jacky Cottrell. Opening the service was a selection of music by John Rutter played by organist, Peter Le Messurier. Included in the service was the Bible Reading, Psalm 23, was read by Ken Falla and the Tribute, written by the family was read by Revd Cottrell. The Poem, She is Gone was read by Rosie, granddaughter. The recessional music was Somewhere from West Side Story by Barbara Streisand featuring Josh Groban. The organist, Peter Le Messurier, accompanied the singing of Praise, my soul, the king of heaven and Thine be the glory, risen, conquering Son. The service was followed by private cremation.
