Deborah Lapidus
The funeral service for Deborah Lapidus (née Lowe), wife of Bobby and adored mother of Jessica, who died peacefully at home, aged 62, was held at the Vale Parish Church and was conducted by the Revd Beverley Hervé. Opening the service was the music, Always on my Mind by Elvis Presley. Included in the service was the Bible Readings, John 14: 1-6, 26, 27, memories of Debbie, a time of reflection, during which the music, My Love, My Life version from the movie Mamma Mia! Here we go Again by Amanda Seyfried, Lily James and Meryl Streep was played and the Poem, You can Shed a Tear. The recessional music was Fly Me to the Moon by Frank Sinatra. The organist, Ray Lowe, cousin, accompanied the singing of All Things Bright and Beautiful and Lead Us, Heavenly Father, Lead Us. The service was followed by private cremation.
