June Barr
A Service of Celebration for the Life of June Hazel Barr (née Pichelmayer), widow of Walter, who died at home, was held at Les Cotils and conducted by Celebrant, Annette Henry. A selection of music by Andre Rieu was played as the congregation arrived. Opening the service were two pieces from Nisi Dominus, RV 608. Included in the service was the Poem, Dash, with the Eulogy including contributions from friends, read by Annette together with two tributes read by John Miller and Malcolm Chamberlain. The closing music was Nessun Dorma, sung by Luciano Pavarotti. The service was followed by a private cremation.
