Barrie Smith

The funeral service for Barrie (Biffa) John Smith, husband of Dolores, who died peacefully in Roustel Ward, The Princess Elizabeth Hospital, aged 78, was held at the Castel Parish Church and was conducted by The Rt Revd Nick Drayson. Opening the service was the music, Barcelona by Freddie Mercury and Monserrat Caballé. Included in the service were family tributes and the Bible Reading, John 14: 1-6 given by Revd Drayson, Nita Monti, daughter and Kita Smith, granddaughter. The recessional music was, We are the Champions by Queen. The organist, Graham Martel, accompanied the singing of This little light of mine and How great thou art. The service was followed by private cremation.
