Valerie Le Messurier

A Service of Celebration for the life of Valerie Anne Le Messurier (née Herpe), widow of Arthur, who died at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, aged 89, was held at Le Foulon Chapel and was conducted by Celebrant, Annette Henry. The Processional Music was You’ll Never Walk Alone by Gerry and The Pacemakers. During the service Victor Hugo, Toilers of the Sea was read by Jan Stevenson, daughter followed by the music, Sailing by Rod Stewart. A period of contemplation, including a photo montage, was accompanied by the music, My Way by Frank Sinatra. The recessional music was Time to Say Goodbye by Andrew Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. The service was followed by a private cremation.

Mourners were: Jan Stevenson, daughter and Neil Stevenson, son-in-law; Kate Wingrove, granddaughter; Phil Le Messurier, son; Linda Le Page, daughter and Graham Le Page, son-in-law; Debbie Le Page, granddaughter; Hayley Le Page, granddaughter.
