Catherine Tostevin
A Service of Celebration for the life of Catherine Virginia Helen Tostevin (née Troalic), widow of Gordon, who died at Browhill Nursing Home, aged 90, was held at St Joseph’s Church and conducted by Deacon Mark Leightley. Included in the service were words of remembrance read on behalf of the family, by Deacon Mark, he also read a favourite prayer of Catherine’s called From Every Kind of Sin Dear God. The Bible Readings Matthew 5: V 1-12 read by Glenn Drake and John 14: V 1-6 read by Deacon Mark, Prayer of Thanksgiving read by Aileen Goaziou, niece and the Poem, Remember Me read by Anne Setters.
The organist, Glenn Drake, accompanied the singing of Lord of all Hopefulness, Lord of all Joy, How great thou art and The day thou gavest, Lord is ended. A selection of Catherine’s favourite music was also played during the service. The service was followed by private interment.
