Albert Ogier
The funeral service for Albert (Al) Thomas Ogier, loved husband of Phyll, who died at Les Bourgs Hospice, aged 81, was held at Les Camps Methodist Church and was conducted by Revd Stephen Dallin. To open the service El Shaddai by Amy Grant was played. Included in the service was the Reading, Romans 8: 37-39, read by David Knight, son-in-law. The Eulogy and the Poem, Heavenly Playground, written by Adrian Plass, were read by Revd Dallin. The recessional music was When the roll is called up yonder played by the organist.
The organist, Martin Le Boutillier, accompanied the singing of, The day thou gavest Lord is ended and Will your anchor hold in the storms of life. The service was followed by private interment.
