Susan Crossley

The funeral service, prior to cremation, for Susan Crossley (née Bailey), widow of Alan, who died at Les Bourgs Hospice, aged 83, was held at Le Foulon Chapel and was conducted by Revd Linda Le Vasseur. The opening music was Clare de Lune by Debussy. Included in the service was the Bible Reading, Psalm 121 and Memories of Susan. During a time of quiet reflection Ave Verum by Mozart was played with the exit music, Jesu, joy of man’s desiring. The organist, Stephen Francis, accompanied the singing of Praise, my soul, the king of heaven and Jerusalem.

Mourners were: Helen Frame, daughter; John Frame, son-in-law; Amanda Gilroy, daughter; David Gilroy, son-in-law; Catherine Frame, granddaughter and Martin Moench (also representing Christopher Frame, grandson and Erena Ikeda, great-granddaughter); Ben Frame, grandson and Briana Freed-Smith; Louise Hodgson, niece and Mike Hodgson; Nicki and Tim Dumbreck.

Donations in lieu of flowers were to be sent to Les Bourgs Hospice, Rue du Tertre, St Andrews, GY6 8SF.
