June Bourget

The funeral service for Gloria June Bourget (nee Bartley), wife of John who died peacefully at home, aged 88, was held at The Town Church and conducted by the Revd Penny Graysmith. Opening the service was a recording of Pie Jesu by Andrew Lloyd Webber, sung by June Bourget and Janet Bran followed by Alleluia from the Motet Exsultate Jubilate by Mozart sung by Sally Henderson and accompanied by Stephen Le Prevost. During the service the Eulogy was given by Fran, Toni and Louisa, daughters, the Bible Reading, 1 Corinthians: 13 was read by Tim Bartley, nephew and the Poem, If I should Go, chosen by June, was read by Simon Mace, son-in-law. The organist, Stephen Le Prevost, accompanied the singing of Morning has Broken, Love Divine and All Things Bright and Beautiful. The service was followed by private cremation.
