Brian Taylor

The funeral service, prior to cremation, for Brian Taylor husband of Gwen, who died at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, aged 85, was held at Le Foulon Chapel and was conducted by the Celebrant, Michelle Duquemin. Opening the service was the music, Going Home (Local Hero) by Mark Knopfler, Newcastle United’s walk on song. Included in the service were Memories of Brian and the Poem, Our Father kept a garden which were read by Michelle Duquemin. During a period of reflection, Close to you by the Carpenters was played and the Recessional Music was Time to say goodbye by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman.

The organist, Graham Martel, accompanied the singing of Morning has broken and Lord of the dance.
