Dr Christopher Minta

The funeral service for Christopher Harold Minta, husband of Barbara who died peacefully at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, aged 86, was held at the Vale Parish Church and was conducted by the Rector, the Revd Beverley Hervé. The entrance music was Saint-Saens Organ Concerto played by Andrew Warren. Included in the service was the Bible Reading, Ecclesiastes 3, 1-8 read by Barbara Minta, wife, with Memories of Chris given by Julian Minta, eldest son. During the time of Reflection, Benedictus by Karl Jenkins was played. The Recessional Music was Mussorgsky’s The Great Gate of Kiev performed by The Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

The organist, Andrew Warren, accompanied the singing of Praise, my soul, the king of heaven, Abide with me; fast falls the eventide and Be still, for the presence of the Lord.

The service was followed by private cremation.
