Estelle McKenzie

The funeral service for Estelle Nadine McKenzie (née Renouf), widow of Jim, who died at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, aged 77, was held at St Paul’s Methodist Church, conducted by Revd Stephen Dallin. To open the service, Ave Maria by Carlo Paul Santanna was played. Included in the service was a family tribute, given by Claire and Louise, daughters. Lara’s Theme from Dr Zhivago by Andre Rieu was played during the Time of Reflection and the Poem, Her Journey’s Just Begun, was read by Revd Stephen Dallin. The service ended with Hey Big Spender by Shirley Bassey.

The organist, Graham Martel, accompanied the singing of Abide with me; fast falls the eventide and Lord Jesus Christ. The service was followed by private interment.
